Effective date: August 2026
Missed Call Killer provides an automated text-message reply service on behalf of local home-services businesses ("Business Clients"). This page describes the SMS program, how consumers opt in, and how to opt out.
The consumer initiates all contact. When you call the published phone number of a business served by Missed Call Killer and your call is not answered, you will receive a single automated text-message reply — on behalf of that business — to the mobile number you called from, so the conversation you started can continue. By placing that call, you provide your mobile number and consent to receive this reply and follow-up messages related to your inquiry.
We only send messages in reply to a consumer's own inbound call to a Business Client. We do not text numbers obtained from any third party, purchased list, or affiliate, and we never message anyone who has not first contacted the business.
"Hey! This is [Business Name] — sorry we missed your call. What can we help you with today? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply."
Messages are conversational and relate solely to your inquiry: understanding the service you need, answering basic questions, and scheduling an appointment with the Business Client.
Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Messages are only sent in response to your own call or replies.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. Missed Call Killer does not charge you for these messages.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. Opt-out requests are honored automatically.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including our SMS Consent Notice.
